MISSION (NEWS1130) – Friends and family of the mother who died in a trailer fire in Mission last week are collecting clothes and toys for her children.

Ele Anthonysz’s son and daughter narrowly escaped the fire at the Green Acres Mobile Home Park on Shook Road on April 17.

Walter Ramsey is charged with Anthonysz’s first-degree murder and the attempted murder of the children.

A witness said the children’s hands were bound together. They were taken to hospital for burns and smoke inhalation.

The kids lost all their belongings in the fire.

Anyone with some clothes or toys for the 10-year-old boy and the 12-year-old girl can drop them off at the Mission Golf and Country Club tomorrow.

The girl wears a size 12 or 14 and shoe size 8. Her brother wears size 10 or 12 and shoe size 6.
