DEWDNEY (NEWS 1130) – A man riding a motorcycle was killed after a crash late Tuesday afternoon in Dewdney.
Mission RCMP say the 62-year-old man was side-swiped when he turned in front of a pickup truck on Highway 7 from South River Road just after 5 p.m.
No one in the pickup truck was hurt.
Weather and road conditions were good at the time, and police say speed and alcohol did not play a role in the crash.
The highway was closed for several hours while police investigated, and re-opened around 10 p.m. Tuesday.
Fraser Valley Traffic Services, the Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service, and the B.C. Coroner’s Service are continuing to investigate.
